CPT: White Cheese Sauce

White Cheese Sauce

Ingredients

  • 24 oz white cheddar
  • 1/2 cup parmesan
  • 2 cups of Half & Half
  • 8 oz butter
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 3-4 tablespoons flour

Directions

  • Pre-cube or grate the white cheddar cheese (so it melts easier)
  • Microwave the 2 cups of Half & Half until warm, set aside for later
  • Melt butter in a saucepan on medium heat
  • Once simmering, add the flour and mix together
  • When it has reached a thicker consistency, slowly add the Half & Half, stirring constantly
  • Add salt, pepper, and garlic
  • Add all the white cheddar cheese and stir until melted
