Power Up with the TYLT Energi+ Backpack
The latest technology trend is wearable gadgets. Devices like smart watches and Google Glass are worn for easy transportation, but most wearable tech users will not use their smart watch as their main device; instead it will complement their laptop, tablet, smartphone, and other non-wearable technology. The TYLT Energi+ backpack is a solution that lets you wear all of your devices.
The new TYLT Energi+ backpack was successfully funded by Kickstarter back in April and it's now available for $199.99. Before you dismiss the price as being too expensive for a backpack, consider that it's specially designed for technology, as seen with its most shocking feature, a 10,400 mAh battery that can provide seven-to-eight hours of charge time for devices inside your backup.
If you've done business on the road, then you will appreciate not having to scramble to find an outlet or babysit a charging device while in a public. The battery sits securely inside the backpack and comes equipped with three USB ports and one microUSB input port to charge the battery. The Energi+ also comes with three microUSB cables, one of which has an Apple 30-pin attachment head. These cables can be easily weaved through slits all over the backpack that have been strategically placed to give every pocket access to the battery.
The various pockets are designed to securely fit gadgets, it has a laptop compartment that is 15.5 x 10.5 x 1.5 inches, and another compartment made for a tablet. The pocket on top is meant for smartphones and other small devices and comes with a hard lining to keep your device, or anything small and fragile like your shades, safe from impact. There are a total of 13 storage pockets in the backpack, providing 1,450 cubic inches of internal storage space; and to keep your goods safe, your main pocket comes with a locking capability.
To complete the look, there is also a NFC chip inside the shoulder strap that can communicate with your NFC-enabled devices. The TYLT Energi+ backpack has also been designed with the traveler in mind. It does this by providing pockets that unzip and fold out easily for quick inspection at security checkpoints so you don't have to dig for your devices and hold up the line.
For any person who has ever struggled with safely transporting multiple devices, and finds it difficult to keep track of which gadget in your device pile needs to be charged, the Energi+ backpack was made just for you. Try it out and let us know what you think, or sound off in the comments if you know of any other technology transportation/charging solution.
